The information on this photograph was provided by Christine Johnson (nee Beard) who lived at 51 Park View Brierley, and attended the school from 1949 to 1955. Christine moved with her husband John to Perth Western Australia. John taught at Felkirk and Cudworth school. Christine sister Marlene still lives in Brierley and is married to Terry Haynes of the St John Ambulance fame. Thanks also to Gordon Steele for adding 4 more names although he isn't sure about George Kerly.

Thanks to David Nicoll for the following: I can help with a couple of names on this photo with the boy next to Mrs Horton being John Hawley and the one between Alan Fleetwood and Anthony Spaxman ; Geoffrey Bell and not

George Kerley (Gordon Steele was doubtful about this).

Can you put any more names to the unknown faces? If so email Gary
