Mr Balmforth retired at Easter 1968 and a former pupil and Brierley resident Edwin Hambleton took his place as head of the school. Edwin himself has now retired and lives in South Hiendley. (February 2009)

Named by Veronica Goodwin (nee (Maralynn) Holden) Dubai and France

She goes on to say that her mother made her and Linda's dresses.
