Top of Brierley Hill

Orchard house is on the left and you can just see Violet Farm Court on the right. Not forgetting the old familiar “Donny number 11” now of course the 211 which has run through the village from as far back as, at least. the 1960s.

These properties were built to house the mineworkers at Brierley Colliery and were commonly known as Pit Row
