CHRISTMAS TORCHLIGHT CARNIVAL

Brierley Town Council have decided that in view of St Paul's church's decision to hold a Christmas Fayre on the same afternoon as our proposed Christmas Carnival, to postpone the Carnival.  The Town Council will now hold an Easter Parade on Saturday 15th March 2008.  This will allow the church to progress with their fund raising activities this Christmas and maximize their support from local residents.  The Town Council wish the church success in their efforts.  Local groups and businesses will receive information about the Easter Parade in the coming weeks, but in the meantime contact the Clerk or any Town Councilor on 01226 714681 for further information.
