The Brierley Town Council annual Gardening awards 2009 at the Bullet Grimethorpe, here are some photos of award winners who were presented their trophies by Town Mayor Cllr Pat Doyle
 
Best kept House/Garden (Grimethorpe) 1st Mr and Mrs Sellers, 2nd Mr Allen Glover and 3rd Mrs Susan Clarke.
Best kept House/Garden( Brierley) 1st Mr Dennis Gell, 2nd Mr Steven Rushe and 3rd Mr and Mrs Donaldson.
Overall winner: Mick Crawford.
Best Allotments (Grimethorpe) 1st Mr John Sellars, 2nd Mr A. H. Harvie and 3rd Mr Benny Bates.
Best Allotments ( Brierley) 1st Mr Andrew Hough, 2nd Mr James Rush and joint 3rd Mr M Goose and Barry and Vi White
