BRIERLEY BOYS BRIGADE

Local Services index

Meetings are held at the Methodist Church Hall

Both the Junior Boys and Company Section now meet on a Wednesday night in the Methodist Church Hall.

The junior boys aged 7 to 11 years meet from 6.30pm till 8pm.

The senior company section meet from 7pm till 9.

Edwin and Elizabeth Hambleton lead the boys.

Activities include: Football, quick cricket, team sports, canon ball and Bible stories. The Brigade is also involved in competitions like, cross country, table tennis, cross country racing and other team games. Both sections are involved in badge work, walking and holidays in June/July. The Boys Brigade are also involved in sponsored events like swimming or walking.
