Sunday School outing to Burntwood

The vicar is Mr Terence Boyard Webster. 2nd row from the back, lad with the striped cardigan is Raymond Steele. The little lad two to his left popping his head through with the big smile is Raymond’s brother Gordon Steele, and to his left is David Nichol.

Thanks to David Nicoll for the following: The boy to Raymond Steele's right is John Grimes who lived in Elms cottages and to his right is Peter Kaye who lived in a bungalow on Common road towards the old isolation hospital and now lives in Cornwall. Peter's mum Grace Mills is the lady on the extreme right of the photo wearing a light coloured jacket and dark skirt. The two young ladies to Reverend Webster's right are Jillian Dixon (dark hair) and Sheila Dixon. They are not related
